Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters even on a website devoted partly to subjective interpretation. Readers should be able to distinguish a factual statement from a cultural belief or symbolic suggestion.

How to report an error

If you notice an incorrect date, broken source, cultural misattribution, misleading scientific claim or another factual problem, email hello@decodeyourdream.com with the page URL and a short explanation.

What happens next

We review the relevant section and, where necessary, check the source material again. Material corrections are made as clearly and promptly as practical. Small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning of the article.

Updates are not automatically corrections

Dream entries may also be expanded when we add new scenarios, better sources or related cultural context. An expansion does not necessarily mean the previous version was inaccurate.
